How much time off will I get?
Because we know the importance of quality time with your family, we're committed to getting you home every 14 days -- all you have to do is give your fleet manager 14 days notice. All trucks are permanently assigned and may be taken home. Home time is based on one day off for each week out. The exception to this is if your are running out of a Service Center location, and "choose" (your option entirely) to slip seat. In this case you'll earn two days off for seven on the road; it's your choice whether you limit your time off, bank the remainder of your time earned or take all of your earned time every 14 days and slip seat. With either program, you decide when you come home and how much of your time you take -- just arrange it with your Fleet Manager two weeks ahead of time.
When will I be eligible for health insurance?
All drivers are eligible for medical benefits on the first of the calendar month after or coincident with the completion of 60 days of continuous service. You must enroll to be covered for contributory benefits. You will have an annual enrollment period during which you may elect to make changes in coverage. The annual enrollment period is announced in advance to ensure that you have adequate coverage to meet your needs.
How soon am I eligible for Lease Purchase?
All drivers are eligible for the Lease Purchase program after they have been with the company for only 60 days. With the lease purchase plan you transfer into the owner operator division with no money down and very reasonable payments and a buy out at the end of three years. You'll run full owner operator status which you can read about at the owner operator page on the menu above.

Are drivers paid on the hub mile?
Drivers are paid on miles as calculated by Rand-McNally.
Is there a guarantee for miles?
Although our drivers average more than 2,500 miles per week, there is no guarantee for miles. You have our committement to providing you with as many miles as you can safely and legally run, however. We know you want and need the miles to make a living, as do we, so we will do all we can to meet those needs.
How can I get a conventional tractor?
All of our OTR fleet and most of the dedicated fleet are Freightliner Century Class with the condo sleeper. The average age of our OTR fleet is now 1.3 years old.
